The Birds

 

The avifauna of Morocco includes a total of 454 species (Bergier & Thévenot 2006), of which five have been introduced by humans, and 156 are rare or accidental. Five species listed are extinct in Morocco and are not included in the species count. Fifteen species are globally threatened.
